A nightclub which closed more than a decade ago is set to return for one time only for a special daytime party.
Kings in Langney Road, Eastbourne, closed in 2012 having entertained partyers for over 10 years.
Now, the club will return for one day only to celebrate the history of the venue – and the partygoers can enjoy the classic club experience without the late night.
Mike Gillman, former manager at Kings, said: “We wanted to create an event for those who love music, dancing and being social - but don’t want the hassle, expense and following day exhaustion of clubbing till the early hours.
“Expect classics, singalongs and non-stop bangers, as well as familiar faces on the dancefloor, but the bonus of being home at a reasonable time.
“We can’t wait to take a trip down memory lane and are looking forward to throwing the doors open for the original party lovers!”
A reunion party, which is only for residents aged over 25, will be held later this month to remember the nightclub.
Kings first opened in 2001 with Mike Gillman at the helm playing nineties and noughties hits for over a decade.
The club closed in 2012, becoming Cameo, and has continued to cater for partygoers under Mr Gillman’s management ever since.
Cameo’s Kings Reunion Day Party will take place on Saturday, July 27, from 1pm to 5pm.
