The branch will primarily sell beds, sofas and dining table sets.
It will also sell home accessories and display units.
Argos, which occupied the unit for a number of years, is now trading from the Sainsbury's store on the same retail park site.
It is one of a number of Argos stores that have closed in the last few years as they switch to trading inside supermarkets.
No further details have been released on the exact opening date of SCS however it is expected to open in late August.
