More officers will also be seen in and around the town over the summer holidays.

This is in response to a spat of crimes across the town over the last few months involving young people.

Last month, police said they had identified a small number of teenagers causing damage to the area and displaying anti-social behaviour.

Residents have been urged to report these incidents as they happen.

A spokesman for Adur and Worthing Police said: "We are continuing to be a visible presence around Shoreham this week and across the weekend to prevent anti social behaviour in the area.

"There will be an increased presence in Shoreham across the summer holidays, and we ask that the public continue to report incidents of ASB to us."
