A woman was assaulted twice in the early hours of the morning on Sunday.
Hastings Police said she was in Robertson Street, Hastings, between 2am and 3am when she was first assaulted by another female.
Shortly after that she was assaulted again by several women, including the woman involved in the first attack.

Hastings Police said the victim noticed some of her personal belongings went missing during the incidents.
A spokesman for Hastings Police said: "We are seeking witnesses to two assaults that occurred in Robertson Street in Hastings town centre..
"Officers investigating the assaults would like to speak to the people involved in this incident, or anyone who may have witnessed the assault.
"If you have any information that could assist us, please contact police by calling 101, quoting reference number 47240105557. Alternatively, information can be passed to police anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
