The Brighton Centre will be welcoming the unique show on its tour of the UK.

Family favourites Kermit, Miss Piggy and Rizzo the Rat will be gracing the venue’s big screen on December 12 accompanied by a live orchestra playing the soundtrack of the 1992 film.

Senbla Live Events said: “This Christmas, experience the magic of The Muppet Christmas Carol Live In Concert.

Brighton is one of 11 locations featured on the tour, alongside Oxford, Glasgow and London.

A spokesman for Disney said: “Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol In Concert Live to Film will be presented this winter on an 11-date UK wide tour, featuring a screening of the complete film with the musical score performed live to the film.

“The Muppets perform Charles Dickens’ classic holiday tale, with Kermit the Frog playing Bob Cratchit, the put-upon clerk of stingy Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine).”

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday at 10am on the Brighton Centre and Disney Tickets website.
