People are being urged to use NHS services wisely as two A&E units in Sussex are very busy.
University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust said on Monday that St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester and Worthing Hospital are treating a very high number of patients.
A spokesman for the hospital trust said: "As always, we ask everyone to please be kind and patient with our colleagues. Your kindness can make a big difference."

NHS Sussex has also said that there are things people can do to help.
People with serious or life-threatening emergencies should continue using 999 and A&E services, while other people in urgent but not life-threatening situations should use NHS 111 online or by phone.
Those with relatives in hospitals are also being advised to collect them as soon as they are ready to be discharged to free up a bed for someone in need.
People with flu or Covid-19 symptoms should avoid visiting hospitals until these symptoms improve.
