A circus is making a long-awaited return to the city with 25 shows this summer.
NoFit State Circus is bringing its new show called Sabotage to The Level, Brighton, in August.
Directed by Firenza Guidi, it promises to be "energising and uplifting".
The event is run by the same creative team which brought the show Lexicon to Brighton Festival in 2018 for a sold-out run.
NoFit State has gained a reputation for its incredible shows over its nearly 40-year history.
As well as circus acts, there will be original live music and "stunning imagery with an immersive theatrical feel".

“The saboteurs are a community of outsiders with little respect for the figureheads of authority. They poke fun at the 'heads of states’ and show them up as clowns,” said Tom Rack, artistic director at NoFit State.
The event is a Brighton Festival extra, and Brighton Festival said it is committed to making accessible, ground-breaking and inspiring arts available for all.
Hundreds of tickets are being offered to families through Brighton and Hove’s food banks and affordable food projects.
Brighton and Hove city councillor Mitchie Alexander, acting cabinet member for culture, heritage and tourism, said: “We’re excited to be welcoming NoFit State Circus to the city this August with a show we’re sure residents and visitors will enjoy.
“Access to the arts is crucial to encourage creativity, personal expression and future participation.
“I’m proud we’ve been able to work with NoFit State Circus and Brighton Festival as well as our food banks and local food projects to offer 500 free tickets to families on a low income.
“We’ll continue to work with partners to create opportunities to open up the arts to everyone as part of the city’s year-round calendar of festivals and events, as well as free and public art.”
Performances will run between Thursday, August 8, and Sunday, September 1.
The council said it is working with NoFit State and Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival to make sure the 500 free tickets are shared with low income households across the city.
