Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.
Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.
A few animals from the branch are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.
To help the Sussex North & Brighton branch carry on their work you can donate to them at the website here.
Alan
Gender - Male
Age - Three to six months old
Breed - American Akita crossbreed
Colour - White
If you want to adopt Alan you can view their full profile here.
Alan is described as a "friendly" and "boisterous" puppy who came into the RSPCA along with his brother.
They were removed from their previous owner by the police from an unsuitable home.
Alan will need complete training, including housetraining and some further socialising.
The RSPCA adds: "As he is going to be a large boy when he’s fully grown we are looking for an experienced large breed home."
Gloria
Gender - Female
Age - 10 years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Torbie
If you want to adopt Gloria you can view their full profile here.
Gloria came into the care of the RSPCA after her owner sadly passed away, and having only lived with one owner during her life it has been a hard adjustment.
She was very shy and shut down for a while, but has slowly started to make some progress.
Gloria will need a calm and patient home where she can settle at her own pace.
Additionally, she would need to be the only pet there and for it to be an adult-only space.
Heather
Gender - Female
Age - One year old
Breed - Persian
Colour - White and Cream
If you want to adopt Heather you can view their full profile here.
Heather came into the care of the RSPCA from a large multi-cat home, along with many other Persian cats.
She is a bit jumpy and isn’t keen on lots of things going on around her, so will need patience from a new owner.
The RSPCA adds: "Like many of the cats she came with, Heather received BOAS surgery to help her breathe better. This has thankfully improved her breathing and greatly improved her quality of life."
Her new owners will need to be experienced with Persian cats or similar breeds, and confident enough to groom her and clean her face/eyes as needed.

Roland and Granger
Gender - Male
Age - Two years old
Breed - Crossbreed
Colour - White & Brown (Roland) and Grey (Granger)
If you want to adopt Roland and Granger you can view their full profile here.
Roland and Granger were surrendered to the RSPCA as their owner was moving into rented accommodation and couldn't take the pair with them.
The centre is still learning about their individual personalities as they only arrived very recently.
The RSPCA added: "We are still waiting for their hormones to subside after neutering, as they are still rather hormonally fuelled! Once they have settled in and have had some time to recover post-castrate, we believe their characters will finally blossom."
In their next home, they will need plenty of space to run around and enjoy as they are a very active pair.
