A new defibrillator has been installed in the city.
The life-saving equipment is at the Green Insurance Group office building in Old London Road, Patcham, Brighton.
The defibrillator, which can be used by anyone who needs it, was funded by the company along with donations from staff, members of the public and other businesses in the area.

Christopher Williams of Green Insurance Group organised the fundraiser on behalf of the company.
He said: "We have been mindful for a while that a defibrillator would be welcome in this location.
"We care about the health of our team and also have a residential area directly adjacent to our building, as well as being very close to the A23.
"Of course, this is a device no one wants to have to use, but having the peace of mind that it is there should someone be in need is a great comfort and will potentially save lives."
The Rotary Club of Brighton, Mansell McTaggart Estate Agents and Halo Hair and Beauty were among the companies which donated.
The defibrillator is registered on the Defib-Finder database and can be found in the car park behind the Green Insurance Group office.
