People are being asked to donate their pre-loved jewellery.
Hastings RNLI fundraising team is to host a second-hand jewellery sale in October using items donated by the public.
All the money raised will go towards the RNLI for its lifesaving work.

A spokesman for the Hastings RNLI fundraisers said: "We are still needing jewellery for our jewellery sale in October.
"Please if you have any pre-loved jewellery you would like to donate it can be taken in to our gift shop at Hastings Lifeboat Station.
"Thank you very much for your support and all money raised goes to help save lives at sea."
The exact date for the sale in October is yet to be confirmed.
It will be held at the lifeboat station in Rock-a-Nore Road, Hastings, and will be open to the public.
