A teenage girl was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.
The 14-year-old was walking in Saville Gardens, Billingshurst, when she was assaulted by a man described as between the ages of 60 and 70.
The man, who was wearing a dark beanie, was walking behind her and walked off after assaulting her.
The attack took place at 10.30am on Friday last week.
Police community support officers have stepped up targeted patrols in the area and have appealed for information.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage should report it to police online or by calling 101 referencing 612 of 28/06.
