A man was hit by a van at a roundabout.

Sussex Police said two vehicles were driving along Lottbridge Drive in Eastbourne at around 2.45pm.

One of the vehicles - a white Luton van - then hit the man, who was driving the other vehicle, at the Lottbridge roundabout when the man got out his car.

The 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses and relevant information such as dashcam footage after a collision in Eastbourne.

"Two vehicles including a yellow Nissan Juke and a white Luton van were travelling on the A2290 Lottbridge Drove at about 2.45pm on Friday.

"Moments later, a pedestrian was involved in a collision with the white Luton van at the Lottbridge roundabout, towards the Marshall roundabout.

"The pedestrian, a 40-year-old local man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

"Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage of the vehicles and the incident, including any dashcam footage, to come forward.

"Information can be reported to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 793 of 28/06."
