A popular fried chicken food chain has suddenly closed one of its branches in the county.
The KFC restaurant in Bell Lane, Uckfield, shut its doors this week, leaving a number of customers surprised.

Since closing, KFC has issued a statement explaining that the branch closed after the company reviewed its portfolio of restaurants.
A KFC spokesperson said: “We’re constantly reviewing our portfolio of over 1,000 restaurants and from time-to-time that means some may close.
"Fans of our famous chicken can still get their delicious KFC from our Haywards Heath restaurant, which is still open for dine-in and delivery.”
