A motorbike rider suffered serious injuries after being hit by a van on the A259.
The rider of the black Yamaha motorcycle was taken to hospital after the crash outside the White Lion Hotel in Seaford at around 1pm on May 30.
Police are now appealing for witnesses who saw the crash involving a dark grey Volkswagen Caddy.
The motorcycle rider’s injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a car and a motorbike on the A259 in Seaford on Thursday, 30 May.
“A dark grey Volkswagen Caddy collided with a black Yamaha WR125X, travelling eastbound, outside the White Lion Hotel at around 1pm.
“The rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with serious injuries, not considered to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident, has relevant dashcam footage or any information that could help, is asked to contact collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 659 of 30/05.”
