England fans were in full voice in Brighton city centre as the Three Lions drew their second match yesterday.
Fans crammed into the Valley Gardens fan zone for the second group stage game and were in raptures after Harry Kane poked through the opening goal in the first half to put England 1-0 up against Denmark.
Cameron and Luke, who did not want to give their surnames, came down from Worthing for the second game of the Euros.
Luke said: "There's no atmosphere quite like you get in Brighton. When it's on in the summer with the beers, you've got to do it.
"We don't even care about £7 pints."
Cameron added: "It's summer with the boys. You've got to do it."
The Central Park fan zone had come under fire for its high walls and noise concerns, but fans inside did not mind as they watched England battle it out against Denmark.
Fans including Brighton rapper Arrdee crowded around the big screen near St Peter's Church while England supporters also crowded pubs in the city centre for the Euros.
Ollie, Henry and Christie in the fan zone said they were excited to watch the game on the big screen and have been enjoying watching football every day. On the venue, Henry said: "It's a good location. Everything is set up really nicely."
Serbia's late equaliser against Slovenia in the early kick-off meant the Euro 2020 runners-up new a win would see them through to the round of 16 as group C winners.
But Morten Hjulmand's thumping strike cancelled out Harry Kane's first group stage goal since 2018 as England fumbled their chances at early progress in Frankfurt.
Both sides had chances to win it, with Phil Foden hitting a post before being withdrawn as part of a bold triple substitution that failed to spark a flat England performance.
This was not a display to strike fear into Europe's elite, with Southgate's selection and the underwhelming all-round team performance sure to be pored over in minute detail before facing Slovenia.
But with four points it looks like we will be through to the next round.
