A two car smash has shut a main road and bus route.
Police have closed off New Church Road in Hove after the Mazda and Audi collided this afternoon.
The airbags on the red Mazda were deployed after the smash which crumpled the car's bonnet.
The driver's side of the Audi was also damaged in the crash.
Traffic is being diverted via Portland Road or the A259 Kingsway, with 1, 1A and 6 buses affected by the incident.
The Argus has approached Sussex Police for comment.
