Residents will soon be able to enjoy extra fast broadband as roll-out of a £195 million project moves forward.
Broadband users in Middleton, Elmer Sand and Flansham, near Bognor, will be able to access some of the fastest internet services available thanks to CityFibre.
CityFibre’s rollout in the Bognor area began in 2022 and it has since brought full fibre to Aldwick, North Bersted, South Bersted, Shripney, Hotham and Felpham.
This is a major upgrade to its digital infrastructure and has turned Bognor into one of the best digitally connected towns in the UK, CityFibre said.

Adrian Smith, CityFibre’s partnership manager for Bognor, said: “We’d like to thank residents for their continued support as we work to complete our network.”
Full fibre networks use 100 per cent fibre optics to carry data at light speed all the way to and from the home and are more than five times more reliable than existing copper-based broadband.
Service providers using CityFibre’s network include Vodafone and TalkTalk, with other providers are expected to join the network soon.
The work near Bognor is part of CityFibre’s £195 million plan for Sussex.
