A woman died after falling from cliffs, police said.
Emergency services were called to cliffs near Seaford yesterday afternoon following concerns for a woman’s welfare.
Sussex Police confirmed a woman in her 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A force spokesman said: “Emergency services attended cliffs near Seaford at around 12.30pm on Tuesday (June 11), due to concerns for a woman’s welfare.
“The woman, who was in her 60s, fell from the cliffs and was sadly confirmed deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, but it is not believed to be suspicious at this time.”
