The jury in the case of an elderly couple accused of conspiring to murder has been sent out to consider their verdict.
Allen Morgan, 73, and Margaret Morgan, 75, from Stanstead Crescent, Woodingdean, have denied hiring a hitman to kill Allen's first wife Carol Morgan at her shop in Linslade, Leighton Buzzard.
Carol and Allen had moved from Swindon to Bedfordshire to take over the shop in December 1979.
The mother-of-two was killed in the storeroom in August 1981.

Nobody has ever been charged with her murder.
Allen and Margaret, who married after Carol's death, have been on trial at Luton Crown Court for the past eight weeks.
The jury of 7 men and 4 women were told by the judge Mr Justice Martin Spencer to seek unanimous verdicts.
