The full list of candidates for the upcoming General Election have been revealed.
People living in Brighton and across the UK will go to the polls on July 4 to vote for their MP and the party which will end up leading the country.
The candidates for the Brighton Pavilion, Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven Constituency along with the Hove and Portslade constituency were announced yesterday evening.
Some 19 candidates will be running for their hope of a place in the next government, from independents to the Labour party and the Monster Raving Loony Party to the Conservatives.

Brighton Pavilion
Eight candidates are running for this seat. It was most recently held by Green MP Caroline Lucas.

How can I vote?
To vote in the election, you must be:
- Registered to vote
- Age 18 or over on polling day
- A British citizen, Irish citizen, or a citizen of a Commonwealth country
People must register to vote by midnight on Tuesday, June 18 if you wish to vote in the upcoming general election.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.
