Flames and thick black smoke rose into the sky as firefighters battled a blaze in a harbour.
Emergency services were called to Rope Walk in Littlehampton this evening after a call about a fire on the riverside.
The Argus understands the fire started in a shipyard near the Red Bridge.

Smoke could be seen from almost ten miles away as plumes billowed into the sky while firefighters tackled the flames at the source.
One resident who lives nearby said his house "stinks of smoke" after the fire. Another added that watching it was "sad to see."
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
