A pharmacy has been forced to relocate after a car crash made the building unsafe.

Kamsons Pharmacy, in Littlehampton, was the victim of a car crash.

The pharmacy, on Fitzalan Road, suffered a significant dent to its brick wall and window.

The driver of the car pressed the accelerator rather than the brake pedal, meaning they smashed into the wall.

Police and the fire brigade attended the incident and the premises were evacuated.

The pharmacy was forced to temporarily close on May 23 following the incident until the building is made safe.

It has now been temporarily relocated to 86 High Street in Littlehampton.

Paul Antenen, operations manager and senior pharmacist at Kamsons Pharmacy, said: “This has been a difficult fortnight for our pharmacy teams in Littlehampton having to work out of the one premises in this emergency situation but they have done an amazing job.

“I would like to thank them and all of our patients and customers for their patience during this testing time for us.”
