A family-run business has been broken into and had cash stolen.
A tool shop in Newhaven has been hit by burglars who broke into the shop on Monday, June 3.
Tools N Tackle in Bridge Street sells sea-fishing equipment and DIY products and has been open for 15 years.
Thieves broke into the rear of the property when the shop was closed and stole money.

Business owner, Sam Wyatt, said: “Much like many small businesses, times are tough but we struggle through and do our best to keep going.
“It just makes me angry and upset as we have spent many years building the business up for someone to think it’s okay to steal from you.”
The business is appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious on Monday in Bridge Street to get in touch.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police received a report of a break-in at a shop in Bridge Street, Newhaven, on June 3 2024.
“Officers have engaged with the victim and an investigation is ongoing to identify any suspects.
“If you have any information that could help, please contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 1161 of 03/06.”
