A woman has denied attempting to murder two children by poisoning them at a house.
Jilumol George appeared distressed as she entered not guilty pleas through an interpreter at a hearing in Brighton.
Emergency services were called to a house in Hunters Way, Uckfield, in February this year.
George, 38, is accused of attempting to poison a nine and 13-year-old at the house.

Lewes Crown Court, sitting at Brighton Magistrates', heard George is accused of attempting to murder the two children between February 6 and 9 this year.
The children were treated in hospital and discharged from hospital soon after.
Emergency services were called to the address in Hunters Way at 6.30am on February 8 where they found George and the two children.
All three were taken to hospital for treatment and discharged.
A ten-day trial is expected to start on September 2 this year.
