An empty clothes shop could become a nail salon.

Plans were submitted to Adur and Worthing Councils last month by Suong Nguyen who said his wife and her cousin would be running the salon.

Suong said a number of treatments would be available including manicures, pedicures, gel colours and acrylics.

The floor plan would remain the same as it currently is.

The unit was last used by The Shop who sold clothes and vapes.

Before this it was used by ink company ToneZone.

A final decision on whether to approve the plans will be made by July 29.
