A new pop-up venue which can host 2,000 revellers a night is due to open.

Central Park, an outdoor event space in front of St Peter's Church, Brighton, will take over part of Valley Gardens for a month from Friday, June 14.

Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming event.

When is it on?

The venue is in place from opening game of the European Championships between Germany and Scotland on Friday, June 14, and come down after the final on Sunday, July 14.

What is on?

A number of different events are on, including three live music events, screenings of the British Grand Prix, Glastonbury Festival and Euros matches.

Do I have to pay?

Of the 18 events scheduled over the month, seven are ticketed. These are the three live music events and the three screenings of England games which will be hosted by commentators and "football legends" including Matt Le Tissier.  More England games are expected after the group stages.

How much does it cost?

Tickets start at £17.50 per person.

What are opening hours?

On weekdays it will be open from 5pm until 10pm. At weekends it will open at 12pm and close at 10pm. However, if Euros games have extra time or penalties the venue will close at 11pm, with the bar closing at 10.30pm.

Are children allowed?

Children can come to all events except the ticketed live music events which are 18+.

Is there a discount for residents?

Residents living in BN1 1 and BN1 4 postcodes get a 25 per cent discount to ticketed events.

Is food and drink available?

There will be food and drink vendors in the grounds. These include Permit Rooms, Carlito Burrito and Cue Point.
