A burger chain has launched a new special in honour of Pride month.

Honest Burgers, which has a restaurant in Duke Street, Brighton, has collaborated with Brooklyn Brewery and Thiccc Sauce for the Brooklyn Stonewall Inn Edition.

Available until July 1, the burger celebrates the launch of Brooklyn’s new Stonewall Inn IPA.

This is the official beer of The Stonewall Inn NYC, where Pride began. The beer directly supports the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI), a charity supporting LGBTQ+ communities and grass roots initiatives globally.

The IPA is described as being “a refreshing session IPA with citrus and grapefruit hop flavours and a slightly dry finish”.

For this special, Honest Burgers has also partnered with Thiccc Sauce to create a barbecue steak sauce using the hoppy new beer.

“It’s the ultimate sauce for the thick burger patty, topped with crispy onions and confit garlic mayo,” said an Honest Burgers spokesman.

For every Brooklyn Stonewall Inn Edition burger sold, Honest Burgers is donating 25p to UK charity MindOut. All burgers come with homemade rosemary chips as standard or coleslaw or salad.
