A Sussex fish and chip shop which has a "dining room looking out over the boats" has been named among the top 20 best in the UK.

Maggie's Cafe in Hastings was featured on the list from The Observer and was Sussex's only representative.

The publication wrote: "Triple-cooked, with curry sauce and locally sourced… eat your heart out at these first choice chippies."

The Observer praised Maggie's Cafe for its fresh-cooked fish and the fact you could take in a great view of the sea in its dining area.
