Brighton has been ranked the third most expensive city in the UK to raise a family.
New research by Shepherds Friendly listed it among the most costly places to raise a family after analysing 40 of the most popular cities in the UK.
This finding was based on factors such as property prices, childcare costs, rent prices, the cost of utilities and average salaries.

The study found the average cost of childcare in Brighton is £1,600 a month.
The average property price is £439,750, while the average price of renting a three-bed flat in the city is £1,933.
The study found the average salary in Brighton is £34,741, which is over £7,000 less than in London, which ranked as the most expensive city to raise a family in the UK.
Cambridge came second.
Other cities on the list include Manchester, Oxford, Bristol, Southampton, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.
