The coastguard team has now issued a warning about tidal cut off.
People are reminded to always check the tide times and heights and keep a look out for incoming tides.
People can use tide timetables or tidal prediction apps such as AnyTide.
Anyone going out to sea should carry a phone to call for help and tell someone else where they are going and when they will be back.
In an emergency, people should call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
