A community diagnostic centre (CDC) is set to expand and treat even more patients.
The CDC at Southlands Hospital in Shoreham has treated over 27,000 patients since October and is set to extend its services this year.
At the moment, the site offers diagnostic services outside of busier hospital sites which means people can access this quicker and closer to home.
It also means people won't be at risk of cancellations.
The centre has CT and MRI scanners, as well as advanced X-ray rooms.

The centre will now be developed to provide additional services including echocardiography, gynaecological and respiratory procedures.
These will be ready by August.
A spokesman for University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust said: "The Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Southlands Hospital in Shoreham allows patients to access planned diagnostic care nearer to their home without the need for them to attend busier hospital sites, making it simpler to access healthcare and eliminating lengthy journeys to Brighton, Worthing or further afield."
