Two pub owners are delighted after winning an award.
Amberley Black Horse in High Street, Amberley, near Arundel, was named the best destination pub in Sussex in the Muddy Stilettos 2024 awards.
Owners Emma Kennedy, 53, and Johnnie Kennedy, 59, said they would not have been able to do it without their team and customers.

Emma told The Argus: "Both myself and Johnnie are delighted the Amberley Black Horse has been voted by Muddy Stiletto Sussex as the Best Destination Pub 2024.
"We wouldn’t have achieved the award without our great team and our loyal customer base which has grown over the five years since our opening.
"We are also grateful to the village who campaigned to keep the pub when it was under threat of redevelopment."
On Tripadvisor, the pub has an average four-star rating from customers.
Most reviewers recommended the pub based on the quality of its food and the atmosphere.
One recent visitor said: "Great pub with friendly service and good food. Fair value and a nice atmosphere and great place to be. Recommend to anyone."
Another visitor said: "I cannot fault this place. The ambience is lovely, staff superb and food fantastic (as ever).
"It is undoubtedly pricy but everywhere is in the current climate- there is nowhere I’d rather go for a special meal with family. They catered to us perfectly and ensured a highly enjoyable evening."
The pub was also praised for its destination, which was one of the reasons it won its award.
One reviewer said: "Really beautiful olde world village setting, well decorated and designed building lots of unique design ideas to look at.
"We enjoyed our lunch the dessert was excellent I thought our meal was good value for good quality homemade food, friendly professional service ."
Someone else commented: "This is truly a diamond in the South Downs.
"The local aspect is what makes this so great - I love Sussex food, but this is truly a love story with every menu I’ve experienced. I will always recommend and come back."
Other Muddy Stiletto Sussex winners include The Boat House in Chichester and Coco and Sage in Nutley.
