Four people were injured in a crash which closed a country road for hours.

Three vehicles were involved in the smash in Amberley Road, between Storrington and Amberley, at 9.45am today. 

One person was seriously injured and three others suffered minor injuries.

Police said the serious injuries are not currently thought to be life threatening or life changing.

The road was closed for investigation and recovery and fully reopened at 2.05pm.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is encouraged to contact Sussex Police on online or call 101 quoting serial 340 of 26/05."
