A busy footbridge connecting two sides of a town will close and pedestrians are being told they must take a detour of almost two miles.
Shuttle buses will run between either side of the Adur Ferry Bridge in Shoreham tomorrow as the bridge is set to close for much of the day.
The footbridge connects the town centre with homes in Shoreham Beach. It was opened in 2013 and replaced another bridge - deemed dangerous - to its east.
A sign posted on the swing bridge says it will be closed between 9.30am and 3pm. It reads: "There will be no pedestrian access during these closure times and a replacement bus service will be provided."
Two buses will run in each direction every hour, from the Waterside Inn and Coronation Green, taking seven minutes.
They will leave the Waterside Inn at half past and on the hour, and leave Coronation Green at 40 minutes past and ten minutes past.
