Preston Park is alive with the smell of food from across the globe this weekend.
An extensive menu of TV chefs, cooking show champions and chart-topping music stars have been taking to the live stage for Foodies Festival in the Brighton park.
Platinum-selling festival favourites Scouting For Girls headlined the music stage on Saturday, followed by Sister Sledge tonight.
Closing the show on Monday as the sun sets will be the Symphonic Ibiza Orchestra with a fusion of dance anthems and live vocals and DJs.
Celebrities and chefs drawn from the ranks of MasterChef, The Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu have been cooking their favourite dishes live in the many interactive theatres and will talk about the challenges they faced on TV's biggest cooking shows.
Star names include MasterChef champion Tom Rhodes, MasterChef: The Professionals champion Alex Webb, Great British Menu winner Michael Bremner, MasterChef: The Professionals champion Steven Edwards, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch chef James Golding, The Great British Bake Off favourite Jürgen Krauss, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch bread expert Jack Sturgess and ITV This Morning wine experts Tom Surgey and Joe Wadsack.
Cuisine from across the world can be found at the festival including Italian, Greek and Jamaican.
There was plenty too for thirsty visitors who could grab a Bavarian beer, Pimms, cocktails and more.
The festival is also a good opportunity for brands to show off their wares to potential customers.
Jason Jansen Van Vuuren brought his rice pudding company Rizz Rice to Foodies Festival with flavours including vegan coconut and pistachio.
It is his first time at the event having launched the brand last year.
The London based brand currently does popups and can be hired for events.
“We’re trying to reignite the passion for rice pudding,” he said.
“We need to be giving samples so people can try and see that it’s not what they got in high school.
“It’s been good and we got a great response.”
Phil Duckett, managing director of Worthing Gin and Seagull Spirits, brought Seagull Gin and Seagull Rum to the show.
“It’s getting people to know about us,” he said.
“For us it’s all about the weather.
“I think if it’s sunny we’re all in a better mood.
“We do a lot of shows and it’s good fun.”
Foodies Festival is in Preston Park, Brighton, and finished on Bank Holiday Monday.
