Residents have been told to be prepared for flooding as scattered showers are forecast over the bank holiday weekend.
The government's Environment Agency (EA) has issued flood alerts for the Aldingbourne and Barnham Rifes near Bognor, the River Ems at Compton, near Chichester, and West Dean near Chichester.
Minor flood impacts are expected to last until Wednesday, May 8.
The EA's advice to people in flood alert areas is to:
- be ready to follow your flood plan
- have insurance documents and any medications ready
- avoid walking, cycling or driving through any floodwater
- move any livestock and farming equipment away from areas likely to flood
The Aldingbourne Rife is high after the storm overnight on Wednesday into Thursday and minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields near Shripney Lane and the A259, parts of the Tesco car park on Shripney Road and land around caravans at Riverside Caravan Centre.
A spokesman for the EA said: "Scattered showers are possible late on Sunday and into Monday, which could cause river levels to rise a small amount again.
"Flood protection products are recommended to be kept installed in Barnham, as a precaution, if you have them.
"We are clearing grilles through Barnham, including at the Trading Post, and our pumps at Felpham are running to reduce flood risk."
