A person has been taken to hospital after a fire at a home.
Firefighters were called to the scene in Southbourne Road, Eastbourne, at 7.11am today.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) told The Argus: "Five appliances attended and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire."

The blaze was on the ground of the property.
ESFRS confirmed that one person has been taken to hospital in the care of the South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb).
