Emergency services were at the scene on the A27 Upper Brighton Road in Worthing earlier this morning after reports of a crash.
There is oil spilled on the road and officers have closed it both ways between the A24 Broadwater Street West, the Grove Lodge Roundabout, and Sompting Road, Lyons Farm retail park.

Drivers are set to face delays in the area as just over two miles east part of the A27 is closed for the entire weekend.
