Crawley Borough Council has issued warnings after its waste collections were affected by "particularly bad incidents".

In Carman Walk, Broadfield, a cross trainer and an appliance box were dumped by the dog waste bin, along with a bag of rubbish.

It comes after nappies were spotted being discarded in these bins.

The council said problems such as overflowing bins or flytipping can be reported at https://my.crawley.gov.uk/.

The Argus: People have also been discarding bags of rubbish in dog poo bins

A spokesman said: "Dog waste littering and flytipping continue to have a detrimental effect on our collections.
