A fox cub has been rescued after being trapped down a drain for days.
The animal was rescued by the East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service charity on Wednesday, however rescuers said he is not "out of the woods" yet despite receiving treatment and care.

A spokesman for the rescue charity, based in The Shaw Barn, Whitesmith, near Lewes, said: "This little sleepy cub is recovering from his misadventures.
"Found down a drain, this little cub had possibly been stuck for multiple days.
"Arriving into care very subdued, smelly, cold and dehydrated we are still not out of the woods but we are doing everything we can and he is starting to take steps in the right direction."
The centre shared a picture of the fox cub curled up on a blanket sleeping.
An update on his condition is expected over the coming days.
The centre have not confirmed where in the area the cub was found.
