An investigation is underway after a reported break-in at a village football club.
Ferring Football Club in Greystoke Road, Ferring, was broken into during the early hours of Monday morning.
Sussex Police said that intruders smashed trophies in the club and left the scene before police arrived.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police were alerted to an intruder alarm at a premises in Greystoke Road, Ferring, at 5.05am on Monday, April 15.
"Two intruders wearing black hooded tops and black jeans are understood to have broken in.
"Officers attended within minutes, but the two intruders had left the scene.
"An investigation is underway, and anyone with relevant information such as CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage in the area at the time is asked to report it to us."
Sussex Police said that anyone with information can report this online or by phone citing quote serial 137 of 15/04.
The football club also confirmed the break-in.
They said: "Over the last few nights we have had a fair bit of anti social behaviour outside the club and had to clear up broken alcohol bottles each morning.
"However this morning at 4.45am two youths (one tall and slim wearing a light coloured hoody) broke into our club house, they then damaged our new bar counter trying to get into the back area
"Brand new doors smashed to gain entry, irreplaceable trophies smashed but nothing taken as could not get any further.
"They were carrying what looked like a beer crate with them, if anyone saw anything suspicious please let us or the police know."
