High winds will once again batter the county after another weather warning has been issued for Sussex.
Wind gusts of up to 55mph will hit Sussex as a yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office for the South Coast as well as England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It comes after strong winds last week exacerbated high tides which flooded parts of the region and led to hundreds of people being evacuated from their homes.
In Brighton, wind speeds will reach their peak at around 10am when heavy rain will also be met with 50mph gusts.
Winds across Sussex will peak around the same time as similar speeds are expected in Littlehampton, Seaford and Worthing.

Issuing the yellow weather warning, a Met Office spokesman said: “Gusts of between 40 and 45 mph are expected widely inland with isolated gusts as high as 50 to 55 mph on exposed coasts and near to heavier showers.
“This is likely to lead to some disruption and longer journey times. Winds will slowly ease through the evening and first part of Monday night.”
Today’s weather warning began at 6.25am this morning and will be in effect until 10pm.
Cross-channel ferries from Newhaven to Dieppe have already been cancelled this morning, operator DFDS said on Sunday.
The bad weather comes just a week after over 200 were displaced by flood waters at Littlehampton’s Ferry Road and Rope Walk.
A torrent of water from the River Arun saw “petrified” people’s homes submerged in inches of water.
Businesses were forced to close with some residents telling The Argus they had suffered thousands of pounds worth of damage.
