Many areas around Sussex were affected by flooding in the early hours of Tuesday (April 9) as the combination of strong winds and high tide caused issues for some.

The Environment Agency had issued flood warnings for several sections of the Sussex coast due to the effects of Storm Kathleen creating larger waves which increase the height of the tide.

Around 150 people were rescued by the waters at the Medmerry Holiday Park near Selsey earlier this morning and firefighters have also been tackling flooding in Littlehampton after the River Arun burst its banks.

Here's what to expect with the Met Office weather forecast for several of the areas affected by flooding in the county and if the worst of it is over.
