A vegetarian eatery has won an award for being the best restaurant in the city.
Terre à Terre, in East Street, Brighton, was named the "Best Brighton Restaurant" in the Brighton Restaurants Awards Vote Online (BRAVO) results last week.
After this was announced, the owners took to social media and said they were "staggered and delighted" by the news.

They said: "We are overjoyed to announce we have won the incredible title of "Best Brighton Restaurant" in the 2024 BRAVO awards.
"We are staggered and delighted to have won, beyond grateful to everyone who voted for us, and to the ever-wonderful team at Restaurants Brighton and Brighton Restaurant Awards.
"Terre à Terre is the product of an incredible team, wonderful customers and a thriving restaurant community. We’d be nothing without all these elements.
"Brighton and Hove is teeming with amazing independent hospitality venues, we’re so proud to be just one of them, and we all need the lovely people of the city to keep supporting us all as they’ve done so amazingly throughout these difficult times.
"We feel very humbled to receive this award after hosting you for 30 years and look forward to feeding you all for a long time to come."
The establishment, which has been serving vegetarian food since 1993, offers cakes and pastries as well as dinner and lunch mealtime options.
The restaurant also has an afternoon tea menu available and a "little terrors" menu for children.
All the food is completely meat-free.
As well as this, the restaurant also has products it sells in-house and online.
These include chocolate truffles, pickles and jams, and gift hampers.
A spokesman for the restaurant said: "Terre à Terre is all about quality ingredients served with flair, creativity, and playful exuberance.
"It stimulates the eye as much as the taste buds and we hear it changes many people’s ideas about meat-free cuisine, which keeps driving us forward.
"We love our drinks and have an award-winning international wine list which frequently showcases locally produced wines, spirits and drinks."
