Plans have been submitted to turn an empty home into a shared house.
If approved, the property, in Manchester Street, Kemp Town, Brighton, would be converted into a five-bedroom house in multiple occupation (HMO).
In the proposals submitted to Brighton and Hove City Council, Clive Hawkins Architects Ltd, on behalf of the applicant, said the ground floor garage would need to be converted into living space.

It said: "The house/garage was designed in the 1970s for smaller cars of that time. Modern cars are known to be bigger and still getting bigger.
"Because of the narrowness of the garage, it is almost impossible to use the existing garage and because of the narrowness of Manchester street, it is extremely difficult for modern cars to manoeuvre in or out of the garage."
Designs show how the five bedrooms would each have their own bathrooms.
There would be one bedroom on the ground floor and two each on the first and second floors.
Residents would share a kitchen, living area and a garden, which would have a bike storage unit.
A decision will be made by May 20.
