Artists Open Houses has revealed its brochure cover.
Brighton artist Sarah Arnett, whose venue The Little Picture Palace features in the festival, designed the artwork and took inspiration from a poem.
Artists Open Houses will take place over four weekends this May, with venues across Brighton and Hove participating in the festival’s 42nd year.
This year’s brochure cover presents an underwater scene, layered with vibrant colours and textures.
“I was delighted to be asked to design this year’s cover, and took inspiration from Margaret Atwood's poem, Siren Song,” said Sarah.

“These beautiful but bored sirens floating in a wondrous dream-like sea, a scene hiding the wrecks, hearts and dreams of men. This will be my second time participating in May Artist Open House and I am so looking forward to it.
“This year I will be showing original collages, new prints and some exciting new projects.”
Sarah’s open house will also present jewellery by Vivienne Ridley, accessories by Holly M Atelier, cushions by Maria Tilyard and work by Raw Solace and Corpo Santo. There will also be workshops every Friday as well as a Sunday Salon each weekend.
This year’s Artists Open Houses spring festival is bigger than ever, with over 180 venues opening their doors to welcome art and craft enthusiasts in to explore their work and environments.
