A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an altercation involving teenagers in the city centre.
An officer from Sussex Police was on duty in North Street, Brighton, at 7.50pm on Wednesday, March 20.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "The officer engaged with the group and a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, then further arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
"He remains in custody at this time."
