A Brighton residence has been ranked among the top 9 seaside hotels to stay at in the UK, according to Which?
Artist Residence was included in the list from the consumer watchdog, which had undercover inspectors stay at hundreds of UK hotels to come to their conclusions.
They added: "While we've stayed in some shabby seaside hotels, there are plenty of beautiful beach front properties that we'd return to without hesitation.
"Our best seaside hotels offer quality, value for money and some spectacular sea views.
"We completed stays at the hotels included within the past two years. Prices are for a Saturday night (peak price) and correct at the time of publication."

What did Which? say about Artist Residence?
At a peak price of £265, which can be booked at the Booking.com website here, Artist Residence is spread over two townhouses on Regency Square.
Which? adds: "Sink into a tan leather couch and admire the seafront view from the industrial-meets-boho lounge. Here, exposed brickwork is jazzed up with bold art by local artists. There’s a slick café-bar and even a ping-pong room."
Moving onto the room, it was described as quite "cosy" with plenty of useful extras, including a coffee machine.
"No two rooms are the same, but all have retro touches such as a Roberts radio and reclaimed wooden tea trays. Oodles of luxurious toiletries also provide a premium experience," the watchdog comments.
Praise was also offered to the food, with breakfast being made to order with "punchy barista coffee and a selection of specialist drinks".
The final verdict read: "The antithesis of the soulless hotel room, it brings the outside in by imaginatively capturing Brighton’s convivial energy."
Artist Residence has a score of 8.6/10 on Booking.com with it having earned many favourable reviews.
