The owner of Hastings Pier and Eastbourne Pier has been fined hundreds of pounds for speeding on the A27.
Sheikh Abid Gulzar, 78, from Grand Parade, Eastbourne, was caught driving a Tesla vehicle at a speed exceeding the 70 mph limit on the A27 in Polegate on July 4 last year.
The offence was proven to be committed by Gulzar in a single justice Procedure at Crawley Magistrates' Court on January 8.

He was fined £220 alongside a victim surcharge of £88.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £90, bringing the total fine to £398.
He was also given three penalty points on his driving licence.
His licence was not suspended but the DVLA have been informed of the offence.
