A resident has expressed his anger as the wreckage of a car crash has been left on the street for days.
Brett Young, who lives in Portslade, said the car crashed into the kitchen showroom at the bottom of Boundary Road in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, March 9.
Four days later, on Wednesday, the vehicle was still abandoned on the corner of Clarendon Place and North Street, Portslade.
Mr Young told The Argus: “It has been reported to Brighton and Hove parking three times who have failed to come and ticket and collect the vehicle.
"It is in a dangerous condition blocking pedestrians access ramps.”
Mr Young called the parking service and received a call back when an operator said they cannot do anything about it.
“They said they do not collect damaged vehicles and suggested I call the police,” Mr Young said.
“It was very unhelpful.”
Sussex Police and Brighton and Hove City Council have been contacted for comment.
